A lack of the requisite documentation has seen Ulinzi Stars utility man, Harun Mwale released from the Kenya U23 national team that is currently preparing for the AFCON U23 qualification match against Mauritius on Wednesday 14th November.
However, two players from Ulinzi – Goalkeeper Timothy Odhiambo, and midfielder Ibrahim Shambi remain in the team ahead of the clash.
The U23 national team went into residential training on Sunday 11th November, with Shambi and Odhiambo omitted from the first week of Ulinzi Stars’ preseason training in Mombasa to concentrate on the national team duties.
Meanwhile, Mwale joined his mates earlier on to continue with preparations for the coming season.
